Nineth day: Consolation is mission
“Mary and Joseph brought the Child to the Temple to offer him to the Lord (Lk 2:22)
The wait is over. The time of definitive Salvation has arrived. Simeon goes to the Temple and recognizes the Messiah in the Child in Mary’s arms. This is the vocation of every baptized person: to be witnesses and sent on a mission to reach the peoples of every part of the earth and share the light and joy of the encounter with Christ, the son of Mary.

Most tender Mother, pray for us
Attentive and caring Mother, pray for us
Consolata, our Foundress, pray for us
LET US PRAY
Oh Lord Jesus Christ,
by whose inscrutable providence
every gift is conveyed to us through your mother Mary,
graciously grant that honouring her
under beloved name of Comforter,
we may enjoy her help and protection.
Who lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen
