Fourth day: Consolation is a sign
“Let us walk “in harmony toward the house of God” (Ps 55:15)
It is a sign that the Kingdom of God is in action: renewal, new life begins. “Do not be afraid”. Consolation calms passions. It is complementarity of the limitations of brothers. It is valid, solid.
Alongside the joyful, innocent, holy, peaceful time of our life, there is the “daily” time, made of fatigue, suffering, enmity, solitude, bitterness, disillusionment, boredom, greyness… of anxieties, thunder, storms, insecurities, misfortunes. All this daily life is not erased in our consecrated and sent life; the entire Community presents it every day to the Virgin so that she may transform it, make it fruitful, save it, with her action of consolation (Mother Nazarena).

LET US PRAY
Oh Lord Jesus Christ,
by whose inscrutable providence
every gift is conveyed to us through your mother Mary,
graciously grant that honouring her
under beloved name of Comforter,
we may enjoy her help and protection.
Who lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen
