September 17th marks the liturgical feast of Blessed Leonella Sgorbati, martyr. This year, we commemorate the twentieth anniversary of her martyrdom, and here are some suggestions and resources to help us prepare well for this event.
Do you know her life story?
Sister Leonella (Rosa) Sgorbati, a Consolata Missionary, was born in Rezzanello di Gazzola (Piacenza) on December 9, 1940. She served as a missionary in Kenya and Somalia and died in Mogadishu on September 17, 2006.
